Why Scheller?
One of my favorite aspects of Atlanta is its growing ability to attract some of the top companies from around the world. The city serves as a hub for major corporations, startups, and everything in between, offering a great opportunity to interact and meet with professionals across all industries.”
Andrew
Chetcuti,
MBA ’25 Consultant Bain & Company
The Scheller MBA provides a vast network, which is of enormous value. When I transitioned out of the Army and away from Amazon during COVID-19, I realized I did not have a strong network outside the Army. The saying ‘get your foot in the door’ is more important than I could have imagined and having the opportunity to meet new people in a wide array of industries and firms moved me towards my career goals.”

The Center is dedicated to guiding students at every stage, from initial career exploration to securing post-MBA roles. With a clear career transformation timeline, students can anticipate the structured resources and mentorship available to them, ensuring they are well-prepared and confident as they navigate their professional paths.
Pre-MBA Summer Preparation
In early summer, before you enroll, you’ll be invited to participate in webinars and receive important homework assignments that will help you clarify your career goals, prepare for the MBA job search, learn about recruitment opportunities, and more. Once you submit your summer assignments, you’ll meet your advisor and start outlining your MBA career plan.
Your First Year
During orientation in August, you’ll immerse yourself in the Scheller community, meeting all your new classmates as well as the MBA programs and career teams. There, we’ll jumpstart your career planning and development, hone your professional presentation, and help you grow your alumni network!
During your first fall semester, you’ll continue to refine your professional goals as well as your career plan. You’ll also start preparing for internship interviews with your advisor as recruiting activities begin early and extend throughout the year. Students typically participate in summer internships from May to August.
Your Second Year
During your second year, you’ll have increased opportunities for major-specific elective coursework and practicums. Your focus will shift to securing a full-time, post-MBA position. Throughout this process, our advisors will support you in all aspects of your job search: career decision-making, resume and cover letter preparation, interview practice, offer negotiations, and more.

After seven years as an Army infantry officer, I chose Scheller for its strong track record of developing world-class business leaders and its presence in management consulting. Starting my MBA felt like a defining moment, a chance to invest in myself. At Scheller, I built on my leadership experience by sharpening my skills in strategic decision-making, quantitative analysis and organizational leadership.”
