THE VUE

The stunning new Vue chair by Gary Platt Manufacturing unlocks the key to a new level of sophistication. The Vue is exquisitely designed with a keyhole back accented by two rows of stitching that start at the outer four corners and meet inside the keyhole. The back is square at the top and tapers delicately as it moves toward the seat, giving an hourglass shape to the chair. A subtle curve at the bottom of the back provides extra comfort to the lumbar curve. The seat is curved at the front and rear, bringing enhanced comfort and style. The Vue is available with Gary Platt’s Designer base and its accompanying wide range of finishes, as well as upholstery options. The Vue is also available with a solid back. Each Savannah casino chair is handcrafted to perfection with its distinctive square seat and delicately curved lumbar back. The seat is filled in Gary Platt’s unique foam for unsurpassed comfort, and it is covered in smooth, uninterrupted leather and paired with an elegant fabric on the front and back. Strong casters enable guests and dealers alike to maneuver with grace. Bar seating and slot seating have non-caster options. Gary Platt Manufacturing has been in the casino seating business since 1996. At the inception, the founders of the company had over 40 years of experience in the casino seating industry in a related company prior to establishing Gary Platt Manufacturing. The company was relocated from Southern California to Reno, Nevada in 1999. Gary Platt produces seating exclusively for casinos including slots, table games, poker, bar-top, sportsbook, and bingo.

The company was founded on the concept that a high quality, comfortable chair would increase player’s “time on device” and as a result, casino revenues. By specializing in casino seating Gary Platt has become the recognized leader in performance seating by casino customers and casino management. Gary Platt supplies IGT, Bally, Aristocrat, WMS, Multimedia, Aruze and Konami with seating for all of their participation games. Gary Platt chairs are in virtually every casino in the US.

In addition, Gary Platt has supplied casino seating directly to casinos worldwide. In 2000, Gary Platt engineered a chair for San Diego’s Barona Casino that introduced state-of-the-art ergonomics to the casino industry. That design became the basis for the X-Tended Play™ series of seating and shifted the focus of the casino seating industry towards ergonomics. The X² Series takes the original design to The Next Generation of Unsurpassed Comfort.

Gary Platt’s proprietary foam sets it apart from any other chair in the industry. The foam is injection molded with built-in contours including lumbar support to fit the human form with ease. The seat has a waterfall front edge to relieve stress on the player’s legs. The wood is also fully contoured to fit the foam ensuring that neither will break down over time. Gary Platt chair frames incorporate glides that make the chair easy to move making them more user-friendly. All of the frames are built with fully welded construction and are designed to stand up to the heavy demands of 24/7 casino use.
