Lacking good haircuts – but not short of an unquenchable passion for property – Phillip and Gary were fuelled by a pair of simple goals.

Born and raised in Elsternwick, Gary met Phillip at 12, and founded an agency with him at 23. Today, that relationship forms the backbone of the agency’s success – although Gary’s feet are planted firmly in the grass beneath them.
A supporter and sponsor of Carlton and Ajax –with a passion for golf and racecourses – Gary remains a local lad. And a family man. Gary’s wife Hana, and children Daniel and Nina, all play a role in the agency he helped create.
Phillip Kingston
Co-founder, Director and Auctioneer
One of Australia’s foremost auctioneers, Phillip cofounded the agency with Gary in 1986. Blending a wicked sense of humour, a taste for the theatrical and an encyclopaedic knowledge of the market, Phillip’s goal is simple – to create “the most professional real estate agency on the planet.”
When not working towards that, Phillip can be found hitting the gym, spending time with his wife, and watching the Demons with his two sports-mad sons.
Darren Krongold Director
A self-confessed ‘matchmaker’, Darren has been bringing vendors and sellers together since 1988. The pioneer of a successful buyers program, Darren leads his team to hundreds of millions of dollars in property sales –every year. For Darren, real estate is a family business – his daughters Rikki and Britney also work for Gary Peer.
When not selling Caulfield’s finest homes, you’ll find him with them, his wife Hayley, and his youngest daughter Hope. (Or sneaking off for the odd round of golf!)
Sally Zelman Director
Sally’s favourite pastimes – walking and talking – were always going to set her up to thrive in real estate. With an approach grounded in empathy, professionalism, and an unparalleled knowledge of the Melbourne property market, Sally is one of Gary Peer’s most reveered real estate agents.
When not slapping ‘Sold’ stickers on auction boards, Sally loves spending time with her husband, son, daughter-in-law, and gorgeous granddaughter, Bella.
Jeremy Rosens Director and Auctioneer
Family. Friends. Healthy relationships. For Jeremy, the most important things in life –and in business – are the same. Blending an in-depth knowledge of the market and its trends with a charming (well, cheeky!) personality, Jeremy takes his business seriously – and personally.
A dedicated family man and passionate Carlton supporter, Jeremy spends his free time with his wife and two children – or dabbling in golf or cricket.
Leor Samuel Director and Auctioneer
Leor entered real estate in 1999 as a sales cadet. In 2000, he conducted his first auction. Since then, it’s been up and up. Today, Leor leads both his own dynamic sales team and our Carnegie office.
Bringing his trademark cocktail of energy, diligence, humour and insight to every interaction, Leor is a client favourite. Away from the auctions and deals, Leor spends his time with his wife Natalie, and sons Ashton, Hudson and Eamon.
Leon Gouzenfiter Director
Born in Minsk, bred in Melbourne, Leon started his career in banking – but soon switched to real estate. The decision was a good one: today, Leon leads our Bentleigh office. Award-winning and consistently highly rated, Leon loves ‘putting together a deal’ – and his clients love him for it.
When not in a suit and tie, Leon can be found playing basketball, spending time with his young family, or despairing over the Essendon Bombers’s latest form.
Julian Millman Director
With a background in financial planning, Julian has been bringing off-the-plan developments to market for over a decade. For Julian, honesty is always the best policy – and a litany of long-standing client relationships speaks to the success of his patented ‘black and white’ approach.
When not bringing beautiful new-build properties to market, Julian spends his time with his wife Shani, and their two boys, Daniel and Ethan.

Every weekend, the Gary Peer coffee vans take to the streets – doing the rounds at our auctions. Serving up thousands of flat whites, cappuccinos and lattes to our caffeine-craving communities.
We partner with Ottimo to bring you coffee that’s fresh. Full-bodied. Flavourful. And free.
That’s right – we’ve never charged for a coffee. Our vans are driven (literally and metaphorically) by people. And a single cause – a simple, heartfelt love for our community.
A rewarding profession
Here at Gary Peer & Associates, we’ve been a regular fixture on the awards circuit since 2013 – when we started entering them.
That year, we took home the industry’s highest honour – Large Residential Agency of the Year. Since then? We’ve taken home 16 trophies at the REIV (Real Estate Institute Victoria) Awards.
Formal recognition from our industry and peers is wonderful. But for us, the most rewarding part will always be rolling out that ‘SOLD’ or ‘LEASED’ sticker – and a happy high five from a seller.
