Choreographers

ALAYNA RUBACH, ‘23, is a Dance Science major. During her time at Rider, she has been an avid member of Rider Dance Ensemble through both performing and choreographing and has also served as the Treasurer and President of the club. She has performed in Rider Dances during all four years of her attendance at Rider and has also served as a mentor within the dance program. Additionally, she has worked as both a content tutor and an embedded tutor on campus. Along with her dance experiences, she has performed research for her senior honors capstone: A Retrospective Review of the Dance Performance and Injury Prevention Program at Rider University. Outside of campus, she has performed twice with the Tattoo Dance Company in the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. After graduation, she plans to attend Moravian University to obtain a master’s degree in athletic training.

CASSANDRA KRICK, ‘23, is a double major in Elementary Education and Dance Studies with a double minor in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. During her time at Rider, Cassandra has been a dance mentor, a member and choreographer of Rider Dance Ensemble and was the Production Stage Manager for Senior Capstones in 2022. She has been on the Dean’s List every semester and was the recipient of the Andrew J. Rider Scholar award in 2021. Cassandra is a dance teacher at Rogers Dance Academy and is so excited to complete her last show at Rider with her students by her side.

FELICIA GARRO, ‘23, is a Dance Performance major with a minor in Graphic Design. At a young age, she began her studies of ballet and contemporary dance at the New Bedford Ballet school in Massachusetts. While at Rider, Felicia has an internship with the Princeton Ballet School (PBS), the official school of American Repertory Ballet (ARB). This summer, Felicia will be joining PBS as a full-time Trainee dancer, which will give her the opportunity to dance with the ARB company.

LEANDRA ACOSTA, ‘19, is a graduate of Rider University with degrees in dance performance and arts administration. During her time at Rider University, she was awarded both the Dance Merit Scholarship and Mildred S. Hawkins Dance Scholarship and helped adopt the Dance Mentorship Program. She is grateful to have had the opportunity to work with so many fantastic choreographers during her time at Rider including Kate Ladenheim, Randy James, Angela Cusumano, Merli Guerra, Jennifer Gladney, Robson Alves, Lynn Neuman, and Ryan Davis. Leandra is currently the Associate Director in the Office of Performance Management at Rider University.
