SEWING BEE OPEN LAB

Join us for a dedicated makerspace time for sewing enthusiasts of all levels! Bring your ideas and use any of our ten sewing machines, cutting tools and pressing equipment. Helpful staff is on hand if needed! Connect with fellow stitchers in a friendly environment designed to inspire and support.

WORKSHOP

Patrons will receive an introduction to the heat press and make their own sublimation tumblers. The heat press and sublimation printer will be available for them to use during Open Lab where they can continue practicing their new skill.
COMMUNITY QUILT SEWING WORKSHOP
4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26
During this extended workshop, patrons can help sew together quilt pieces. These community quilts will be displayed and donated to Project Linus, a nonprofit providing handmade blankets to children who are ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need. Training for sewing beginners will be offered at the start of the workshop.
