If you are not satisfied with a program for any reason after attending the first program meeting, you may request a full refund, transfer, or credit. After the second program meeting you may request a pro-rated refund or credit. All refund requests must be made prior to the end date of the program. Refund requests for one-day programs must be made 24 hours in advance. Read program descriptions carefully, as some program fees are non refundable. Supply fees are non-refundable. Please allow 2 weeks for refund process.

Hop into spring EGG-citement! Hunt for colorful candy and toy filled eggs. Bounce around in a jump house, go through the obstacle course, and load up on recreation activity information. Popcorn, sodas, and Pucker Powder will be available for purchase. Keep the memory by having your picture taken with the Easter Bunny for a small fee!

Central Park Ages up to 10 Yrs Thursday, April 17 6:00 PM (Weather permitting) FREE!

Have an eye for photography? Capture compelling still photos while getting to know Garland from a different point of view.

Shutterbugs of all ages can showcase their work for the community to enjoy. Photos submitted must be taken within the Garland city limits or by a Garland resident and may be up to 8” X 10” in size. All submissions must be mounted on poster board with a one inch border; one picture per board. Prizes will be awarded for first place in each category and best in show. Young Rembrandts

Build muscles the right way! Learn correct techniques to working out while gaining knowledge on how the body functions. This one hour fitness orientation targets teenagers looking to get in shape. Upon completion of training, participants are eligible to purchase The Body Shops Fitness Pass.

ID Cards & Fitness Passes

ID Cards All drop in participants are required to purchase and scan a Participant ID Card when entering a City of Garland recreation center. A Participant ID Card form must be filled out for each person along with a valid picture ID and proof of residency.

Legal guardians must fill out and sign forms for participants under the age of 18.

Guardians may be required to prove guardianship. The ID Card is valid for one year.

Garland Residents Ages 7 - 12 $3 Ages 13 and up $7

Non Residents Ages 7 - 12 $5 Ages 13 and up $10

Fitness Passes A Fitness Pass allows participants use of The Body Shops fitness areas and equipment.

Benefits of a Fitness Pass include Body Fat Analysis, help setting fitness goals, and the use of cardio equipment, free weights, and weight machines. The Body Shops fitness areas are located at Fields, Granger, and Hollabaugh Recreation Centers. The Fitness Pass is valid for one year and includes access to the recreation center gymnasiums.
