HUNT

Hop into spring EGG-citement! Hunt for colorful candy and toy filled eggs. Bounce around in a jump house, go through the obstacle course, and load up on recreation activity information. Popcorn, sodas, and Pucker Powder will be available for purchase. Keep the memory by having your picture taken with the Easter Bunny for a small fee!

Have an eye for photography? Capture compelling still photos while getting to know Garland from a different point of view.

Shutterbugs of all ages can showcase their work for the community to enjoy. Photos submitted must be taken within the Garland city limits or by a Garland resident and may be up to 8” X 10” in size. All submissions must be mounted on poster board with a one inch border; one picture per board. Prizes will be awarded for first place in each category and best in show. Build muscles the right way! Learn correct work out techniques while gaining knowledge on how the body moves. This one hour fitness orientation targets teenagers looking to get in shape. Upon completion of training, participants are eligible to purchase The Body Shops Fitness Pass.

 Enjoy 63 holes of golf on over 600 acres of beautiful wooded terrain scattered with streams and ponds. Firewheel is the biggest golf facility in Texas, and one of the largest complexes in the country.

The Bridges Course is a 27 hole public course, featuring bentgrass greens, 419 Bermuda tees, fairways and roughs, and a 35 station practice range. Located on the south end is the Branding Iron, a full service restaurant with a variety of foods from sandwiches to steaks.

Participant ID Cards All drop in participants are required to purchase and scan a Participant ID Card when entering a City of Garland recreation center.

A Participant ID Card form must be filled out for each person along with a valid picture ID and proof of residency. Legal guardians must fill out and sign forms for participants under the age of 18. Guardians may be required to prove guardianship.
