Expo
2017
Wednesday
13 September
Vodafone Event Centre 9am-4pm
Welcome to NZMA Careers Expo 2017 NZMA, as part of the New Education Group and is one of the best providers in New Zealand, and we are dedicated to our student’s success. This is why we meet employers every week, organise recruitment events with employers, help you with your CV and interview skills and of course, tell them how great you are! We invite employers to our industry events and our advisory group meetings to strengthen our bonds to the industries we educate in and make sure our courses are up to date – so you will have all the skills you need to start your career. So, it’s with our students and graduates in mind that we are running our fifth annual Careers Expo – and this year we have even more employers.
At the event, students and graduates have the opportunity to speak directly to businesses about the availability of work experience, internships, part time and full time roles and also learn where your studies can take you. It’s also a great chance to make valuable business contacts early on in your studies and get networking!
Careers expo | 2
The Careers Expo is also the perfect place for tutors to exchange information, ideas and experience with businesses in the industry and it’s often the case that collaborations and new projects have their starting point at these events. For businesses taking part, the careers fair not only provide direct access to our highly talented and passionate students, they can reach our awesome graduates who are ready to join the workforce. There are also lots of opportunities across industries. For example, a hotel chain may be looking for Contact Centre students for their national reservations team. So make sure you meet with all of our exhibitors across the course of the day.
So make sure you get the best out of NZMA Careers Expo 17” – perhaps a new business contact will be the first step on your personal career path! Our heartfelt thanks to all companies for their participation. Our thanks also go to all the people outside and inside of NZMA, who participated in the preparation and implementation of this event

INDUSTRY NZ Defence Forces-Army, Navy, Air Force COMPANY PROFILE We’re New Zealand’s Navy, Army and Air Force – three Services, one force – a Force for New Zealand. We stand up for what is right. Together we protect New Zealand’s interests at sea, safeguard peace and stability within our neighbouring regions and further afield, and help others in times of need with agile air operations across the world. This could mean fighting alongside our allies in a combat zone, helping safeguard peace and stability in a wartorn country, or going in after a natural disaster and helping save lives and rebuild communities. Or it could see us doing search and rescue, or boarding a suspected pirate ship. It’s impossible to detail everything we do because it’s so varied. That’s why it’s so rewarding.
