Dear Friends and Supporters,
Welcome to the 15th Annual Shoot for Scouting Sporting Clays Classic! On behalf of the Sporting Clays Committee and Scouting America Garden State Council, thank you for joining us. Your participation and generosity fuel our mission of preparing young people for a lifetime of character, leadership, and service.
For over 115 years, Scouting has been shaping youth in South Jersey through hands-on experiences like camping, hiking, service projects, and merit badges in first aid, citizenship, and STEM. Today, more than 4,500 local youth are engaged in Scouting, supported by dedicated volunteers. Your support makes these opportunities possible for youth of all backgrounds. Through Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, Exploring, and Scoutreach, you help ensure Scouting is accessible to young people ages 5–21, including those in underserved communities.
A special thanks to our sponsors, partners, and volunteers whose commitment empowers youth and strengthens our community.
Enjoy a safe, fun, and memorable day—and take pride in knowing your involvement makes a lasting difference. Together, let’s Shoot for Scouting!
With appreciation,
David Kryszczak

OUR MISSION
The mission of Scouting America Garden State Council is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
THE SCOUT OATH
On my honor I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my Country
To obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.
THE SCOUT LAW
A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent.
Included with Tournament Sponsorship, 100-Bird Sponsor, Gift Sponsor, Ammo Sponsor, Hat Sponsor. Add-on ticket can be purchased for $50.
SHOOTING FORMAT AND SCORING
The Sporting Clays Classic is a 100-bird main event. Teams will rotate through a series of sixteen stations across the course, with each shooter taking turns at targets designed to simulate the flight of game birds. Eye and ear protection are required at all times, and trained volunteers will provide guidance at each station.
Scoring is straightforward: every broken target counts as one point. A visible piece must break away from the clay for the shot to count. Final scores are recorded on official scorecards, which must be turned in at the end of the round to qualify for awards.
Tournament awards will be presented to top teams and individual shooters, including High Overall, Runner-Up, Ladies Division, and Long Bird challenges. In the event of a tie, results will be determined by scorecard review or a shoot-off.
Please make sure to turn your scorecard in at the check-in table.
