Garden Center provides residential and vocational supports to persons with developmental disabilities. While looking for fresh ideas to provide new opportunities for the people we serve, we found art. What started with just a handful of people painting and creating in a cramped office for fun has turned into a program that employs the creative process to promote a sense of accomplishment and personal well-being for those involved. Garden Gallery & Studio enables participants to create, display, and sell their artwork. A portion of gallery sales goes toward enhancing services for people with developmental disabilities.
Contest ends November 10th Drawing on November 18th http://www.indiegogo.com/Garden-Studio-Gallery Garden Center Services is committed to supporting and empowering persons with developmental disabilities through innovative and person-centered services. Our commitment to the excellence of our programs is surpassed only by our devotion to the people we serve and the communities in which they live.
