Engineered for Hygiene built for durability Nozzle guidelines The Tecpro fogging trolley features one 25-litre drum that connects directly to the integrated fogging nozzle. When compressed air flows through the internal design of this nozzle, a venturi effect is created. This effect draws the chemical from the drum, allowing it to be released as a fine, airborne mist of micronised droplets. There are two nozzle inserts included with the ST-83. A swirl nozzle and straight nozzle, below is a guide as to the settings to be used for each nozzle. It is extremely important to have the pressure correctly set. If the pressure is too low you will not get the required venturi effect to lift any liquid for effective fogging. If the pressure is too high, the air pressure will overcome the venturi effect. Both scenario’s will reduce the devices ability to fog correctly. Swirl Nozzle: Min: 2 bar, Max : 5 bar, Optimum: 4 bar Straight Nozzle: Min: 0.5 bar, Max 4 bar, Optimum: 2 bar
Operating Instructions Close all access points and switch off ventilation systems in the area to be fogged. Close the area to personnel traffic, post hazard warning signs in access points if needed Drill a hole in the lid of your chemical drum and insert the provided pick up pipes. Position the trolley in a strategic place to ensure the best possible fogging coverage and that there are no obstructions that could interfere with the jet stream within 3 metres. Plug in a compressed air line, check and confirm that both nozzles are fogging effectively and retire from the area. After a period of time, determined by calculating the time required to fog the size of the facility. Disconnect the air supply and turn the ventilation system back on. Always wear approved personal protection equipment when handling chemicals
