HELLO!

Hi my name is Georgia Millett, I’m am currently 3rd Year Communication Design Student. I’m inspired to work for a Brand or Marketing studio working with along side others to help create and make a different in the community.

On my days off, I spend most of my time with friends and family, and along with that I volunteer in the community helping highschoolers, adapt to life. Being a part of a community and creating unity is my overall passion.

INTRODUCTION:

I am a 3rd Year Communication Design Student at Auckland Universtiy of Technology. My goal is to work in a studio environment that focusses in branding or marketing perspectives of design. I offer 3 years of part-time work attaining many transferable skills, that has not only refined my personality, but has strengthed my work ethic.

Creating a Fusion of relationships with youth kids from Years 9-13. Leading group activities and sessions that help build unity within the students.

Cultivate:

Cultivate is a discipleship programme for youth kids from Years 9-13. Mentoring and caring for the needs of the youth. Helping with group acitvities and sessions.

Special Olympics:

This collection of Social Media content is for Fusion Youth. An Organisation targeted Years 9-13 Students. Being apart of the Youth, as a leader, I am able to use my own photography to enhance the content.

Solace is photographic series, looking at the joys of lockdown. During this photographic assessment, I captured landscape scenes of walks I went on to find serenity in the hardships of lockdown.

For this project, we were tasked at creating a brand identity for a Museum. We were required to produce a brand manual that clearly outlined the principles of the brand, showing the logo and other collateral.

Typografika 24’ is a posterzine designed for a university assessment. This double-sided poster was to communicate a Type and Typography Conference; including Workshops and Keynote Speakers.

The Mischief

Storytelling.

The Mischief is a narrative booklet, looking at the Jokester Hermes in Greek Mythology. This series details how the characters from the tale, illustrate archetypes of Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalytic theory.

Embrace was a Special Needs Adventure Camp Campaign done for my final project in College, in 2021. This project received a Scholarship Award.
