GUIDE

Your Chance to Make an IMPACT Star ts Here.

OUR MISSION

For generations, Gert Town and surrounding neighborhoods have been underser vedlacking access to vital resources, educational opportunities, and safe spaces for growth. IMPACT504 has worked tirelessly to change that narrative through free community programs, youth enrichment, and health initiatives. Now, we’re taking the next bold step: IMPACT University.

IMPACT University will be a transformative community hub offering vocational training, wraparound services, environmental education, technology labs, and spaces for collaboration. It’s more than a building-it’s a lifeline for families who need hope and opportunity.

WAYS TO SUPPORT

We often hear, “I wish there was something I could do.” This is your chance to be the something. By contributing to our Building Fund, you help create a space that empowers, educates, and uplifts thousands of lives.

Initial programming begins Spring 2026, but we need your support now to make this vision

Winston Rhea Scholars

OUR MISSION

Founded by former foster youth Daniel Harris and his wife, Katie Harris, a New Orleans Educator; Winston Rhea provides support to young adults aging out of the foster care system through scholarship, mentorship, access to mental health services, career development, financial literary, transportation assistance, rental assistance, and community support.

When Daniel aged out of foster care at 19 years old, his CASA and high school basketball coach provided support to him as he was going to college and then entering the workforce. Their unwavering love and guidance helped Daniel overcome the foster care system. Found in 2021, Winston Rhea was named to honor them and provide the same care he was fortunate to receive.

Each year, Winston Rhea accepts 2-3 scholars who are provided four straight years of unconditional support and mentorship as they enter college, a trade program, or the workforce and transition into adulthood. We want every foster youth to know: Foster care may beapartof ourpast, butitdoes notdefine our future.

New Orleans Women & Children’s Shelter

OUR MISSION

No child should go hungry. No child should be homeless. Yet that is the unfortunate reality for hundreds of New Orleans-area children and their families.

For 18 years, the New Orleans Women & Children’s Shelter has led the charge in this region, serving homeless families with children. Each year, two-thirds of the individuals we serve are children under the age of 18.

Our services go well beyond providing the shelter and nutrition children and their parents need. Our wraparound services and programs ensure that families have the skills and tools to be self-sufficient and to thrive beyond their stay with us. And our programs work - 98% of families remain stably housed long-term.

As one of the largest organizations serving homeless women and children in New Orleans, we are dedicated to creating a safe, secure, and stable environment where classes, tools, and resources build a pathway to success Our wraparound programs keep families together and empower self-sufficiency-every step of the journey.
