Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad) has announced the signing of agreements with Spinneys Abu Dhabi for the building of a new distribution centre. A land plot has been allocated in the logistics cluster of Kizad Area A, where the company will set up a temperaturecontrolled distribution centre to store products from multinational consumer goods manufacturers.
American snack manufacturer J & J Snack Food Corp has seen its annual income increase by 19%, due in no small part to the performance of pretzel sales. Pretzels have been the major success story over the past year, with the increased demand leading to new manufacturing lines being added. Churros have been the second area of growth for the company, with sales to food service customers in 2013 increasing 22% to $56,099,000.
