VOLUNTEERS

The Gallo Center for the Arts greatly benefits from the support provided by more than 160 active volunteers performing duties including lobby greeters, ticket takers, ushers, concessions servers and more. For the fiscal year ended June 30, 2025, spanning every performance presented by the Center and our resident companies, rentals by visiting presenters and special events, our volunteers donated 20,000 hours of service. (Applying California’s minimum wage requirements plus payroll taxes to those hours, it would cost the Center in excess of $300,000 were it not for these wonderful volunteers.)
