Troon Drives H.O.P.E. Troon’s leadership recognizes the global reach of the company and feels a responsibility to use this influence to “drive” others to act. This means providing opportunities for its associates to participate in a variety of activities that help those in need around the world.

Troon wishes to lead by example in this area and set industry standards for corporate responsibility.

During the entire month of September, which is officially National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, Troon daily-fee and private facilities fly a light blue checkered flag on every 18th green to remind golfers about the importance of detecting prostate cancer early. Likewise in October, during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, pink pins, flags and cups are used to raise awareness about breast cancer prevention screening exams.

Gallery Boot Camp meet your friends and improve your game in this complimentary offering by our new director of instrucion - Glen Griffith!

Join Glen during the 2014 over-seeding dates for complimentary work on your golf game.

Simply reserve your spot for any session by registering online in the “lessons” area of the ForeTees tee sheet. Each session is listed as a group offering with a warm up stretch session and approximately 1 hour of coaching. Get a jump start on your golf game for the upcoming season in a fun, relaxed, informative atmosphere!

We are offering coaching in several areas with the following schedule: Each session will begin with a 20 minute stretch session led by a Gallery Fitness trainer • Monday, October 6th - 8:00 – 9:30 am – Putting focus – drills and approach for your game.

• Tuesday, October 7th – 8:00 – 9:30 am – Short Game focus – Chipping – Lofted chip shot and Bump & Run chip shot.

• Wednesday, October 8th - 8:00 – 9:30 am – Pitch shots and specialty shots/awkward lie • Thursday, October 9th - 8:00 – 9:30 am – Irons….work through all irons in your bag learning about Ball Flight Laws affecting direction and trajectory.

• Friday, October 10th – 8:00 – 9:30 am – Hybrids, Fairway woods, and Utility clubs.

• Saturday, October 11th and Sunday, October 12th – No Boot Camp classes.

• Monday, October 13th – 10:00 am – 11:30 am – Driver – Distance and control.

• Tuesday, October 14th – 8:00 – 9:30 am - Game Management, targeting, and playing the game from a simple, powerful place.

Paul Nolen Holding the Fort in Columbus Paul Nolen, Head Golf Professional here at The Gallery, has been sharing his knowledge, support and Troon enthusiasm with fellow Troon PrivÊ - Columbus Country Club the last few weeks as the Interem General Manager. Although we are sure Columbus is enjoying his presence, we look forward to his return back home! Pictured is a recent event which was themed in the 60’s that celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the US Open held there at the club.
