Help us Kick-Off the NEW season of the Gallery Ladies 9-Hole League on November 11th!

Any female Golf, Sports Club or Sports Club PLUS member is welcome to play with us! The Ladies 9-Hole League is a fun experience for golfers of ALL skill levels, whether you are an established player or still learning (like Jenny)! Our goal is to have fun, play a little golf, and make new friends!

The Ladies 9-Hole League meets every Tuesday afternoon at 3pm. As we work to build our group, we want to remind everyone that the Ladies 9-Hole League does not require a major commitment - if you can’t join us every Tuesday, that’s ok!

Troon Cup Coming to Town This year, we are privileged to host the biggest, most prestigious event within Troon, the Troon Cup. This annual competition hosts teams from Troon managed clubs from around the world. This year we even have teams coming from as far as Abu Dhabi!! The Pro-Am format consists of a Golf Professional and three members representing their respective clubs in a One Best Ball Gross and One Best Ball Net format.

The dates for the event are December 3rd – 5th with a practice round on Wednesday, December 3rd followed by two days of competition. Currently we have 57 teams with 228 players scheduled to compete.

Our members accumulated points in club events last season to qualify to play in this year’s event. Representing The Gallery, will be David Raffety, Steve Gershman and Kevin Hustek with Paul Nolen as their Pro…Laurie Smith, Meridith Schrader and Wynn Clark with Glen Griffith as their Pro. During the Troon Cup, starting times for members will be available on Wednesday morning until 10am on both courses but there will be limited availability on Thursday and Friday (after 2pm). The Practice Facility will be available all day Wednesday and after 9am on Thursday and Friday.

To assist our members in playing elsewhere during the event, we have negotiated discounted rates at Ocotillo, Poston Butte, Sewailo, Southern Dunes and Whirlwind. In addition, Sewailo has extended an $89 resort room rate.

Mountain Mania Qualifier Coming Soon!

November 10th is the 29th edition of the annual Home & Home competition with Stone Canyon. A qualifying process will be held from Friday, October 31st thru Friday, November 7th. You must play the North Course from the Blue/Green Combo tees and you only get one round to qualify. This year’s event will have a $50 event fee per person. A total of 10 members and 2 pro’s will make up the team trying to extend our overall lead of 16 wins to 12 losses!

Special Toll Brothers Exclusive to Gallery Members Toll Brothers will be announcing their new subdivision “Toll Brothers at Los Saguaros” to the public in the next few weeks.

As some of you may already know, Los Saguaros is a (72) lot subdivision on the South Course bordered by golf holes 10, 11, and 13.

Prior to announcing to the public, Toll Brothers is providing an exclusive opportunity for our members to reserve a homesite in their first phase offering. The reservation will hold the lot in the member’s name until pricing is released, at which time the member would have the opportunity to proceed with a purchase contract or cancel their reservation.
