A ‘Chilly’ 1

It might have been a bit chilly and moist on January 26th, but Annette Russell wasn’t going to let that slow her down. In fact, she was rewarded with a hole in one on #16 South. Witnessing and celebrating with her was Terri Camp, Joann Davis and Pamela Heidinger. Great display of perserverence!

Swing into Balance - Complimentary Workshop Join Glen for the weekly complimentary “Swing Into Balance” class offered Wednesdays at 3:00 pm in the Sports Club. The class is designed to bring awareness to balance, muscle groups working (and not working) in your golf swing, and to introduce a way to play the game of golf from a different perspective. Please register for the class by contacting the Sports Club front desk and bring your 7 iron. This 45 minute class is fun, informative, and can have a dramatic impact on your approach to the game of golf!

MARCH 16 - 22, 2015 Omni Tucson National Resort, Tucson Arizona The Tucson Conquistadores Classic features an 81-player field competing for a $1.7 million purse with $255,000 and 255 Charles Schwab Cup points for the winner. The no-cut format includes three days of competition (Friday-Sunday) with players participating in pro-am events on Wednesday and Thursday.

Tournament proceeds benefit youth athletic programs in Southern Arizona.

Cardio Drumming Workshop Tuesday, February 10th 4pm-5pm A workout for the entire mind, body, and spirit!

Participate in a completely new, trendy, and fun fitness class. Feel and experience the pulsating rhythms, dynamic movements, and powerful percussions of this new high-energy dance and rhythm workshop. Cardio Drumming combines traditional aerobic movements with the powerful beat and rhythms of the drums (stability balls). It’s designed to enhance physical and mental fitness, to burn fat and above all, to have fun.

Signe Elwick, B.S., D.C. has been a fitness professional for more than 20 years. She combines her degrees in Exercise Nutrition and Chiropractic with an ACSM Personal Trainer certification. She specializes in training and program design for postural correction, stability and functional exercise as well as bone health for women. Additionally, she has years of experience and training in designing and implementing realistic cardiovascular programs to meet health, fitness and weight loss goals.
