Around the Club Where Eagles Fly Gail Leon took down #16 of the North Course with an Eagle on Saturday, February 6th by holing out from 90 yards. She commented that “not all luck is bad”. Gallery Artisans We are excited to announce The Gallery Spring Art Show March 25th, 2016 and The Gallery Spring Artists Studio Sale March 26, 2016.

The Gallery Spring Art Show - Award Reception and Exhibit March 25 5:30 at The Grille: This will be a juried show. Deadline to enter and submit work is March 7, 2015. There are four separate categories: Painting (this may split into Oil, Water Color and Acrylic), Photography, Jewelry and Fine Crafts. There will be a selection and judging process. The Reception and Exhibit is open to the public and will highlight all work in the show. The winners will be presented their awards at the reception.

The Gallery Spring Artist Studio Sale -March 26 at The Sports Club: This is a beautiful scenic outdoor venue. It will allow artists to sell their work and is open to the public. This is for fine artisan crafts and original artist generated work. This gives many studios public awareness, and a retail space to sell their work.

February Bloom You may have noticed the lower parking lot is quite orange these days. That’s in thanks to the Cape Aloe, or Aloe Ferox. This plant has been used for medicinal purposes for ovet two centuries. It is very succulent and can withstand long periods of drought.

Introducing New Massage Therapist Mary White

Originally from St. Paul, Minnesota and raised here in the Sonoran Desert, Mary has spent the past twenty years as a massage therapist. She graduated with honors following a year of studies at Seattle Massage School. One of her favorite career highlights was having the opportunity to work on some of the participants in the 1998 American Century Celebrity Golf Championship Tournament in Lake Tahoe. Much of her career was spent working in hotel spas in Snowmass, and at The Ritz in Aspen, Colorado. Her signature massage integrates various modalities and techniques. She takes pride in her profession and feels privileged to have had the opportunity to practice massage therapy on clients from all 50 states and 23 countries. Mary enjoys making connections with people and is looking forward to meeting the members at The Gallery.
