Special Offer from Casino Del Sol to Gallery Members Shuttle Service to WGC Match Play Next Week We will be offering shuttle service from The Gallery to the Match Play Event next week for your convenience. The first shuttle will depart the Bag Drop area based on gate times at the event, and continually run on the top and bottom of every hour as traffic permits. We are limited to first 20 passengers per trip. The last pickup at the event will be 6pm.

Dave Charnock holed out his second shot on #1 on the North Course February 9th. He went on to record a couple more birdies and ended a great round at par (72). Well done Mr. Charnock!

A Lesson, An Ace

Stephen Keating had just taken a lesson from Mike Karpe on February 6th. The next day he put it to good use by holing out on #15 on the North Course from 133 yards for a hole in one.

His wife, Isabel, was there to witness and celebrate with him.

Where Eagles Soar

Just one week after a hole-out for a double-eagle hole in one on #7 South, Carol Colton drove it to four feet and made her putt for an eagle on February 5th. Playing parters celebrating with her were Mrs. Claytor, Werlinger and Ligon. Way to ‘own’ it Mrs. Colton!

Sports Club Near Middle Eastern Dance Workshop Wednesday, February 26th 11:30am-12:30pm

Spend an hour learning the concepts of Near Middle Eastern Dance.

Near Middle Eastern Dance is a folkloric cultural dance that has been glamorized thanks to movies from the golden era. Near Middle Eastern Dance is mostly a nonimpact art form and is usually performed barefoot. The hips are the focus of the dance with accents from the upper body, arms, and even the legs and feet. This workshop will focus on the traditional modern art form.

Sports Club Masters Swim Program Starts March 4th Tuesday & Thursday at 10am The word Masters was first applied to adults who participated in track and field and was later adopted in organized adult swimming. In swimming, Masters simply means 18 and older.

This program is designed to fit your needs. Whether you want to swim for fun, fitness, weight loss or competition, Masters Swimming is right for you. Workouts will be catered to each swimmers ability level.

Cost: $10 per session Catherine Vorrasi has been a competitive swimmer since 5 years old.

She became a lifeguard at 15 and began teaching both private and group swimming lessons at a young age. She earned a Bachelors degree in physical education and health at George Mason University and a Masters degree in sports, recreation and tourism management at the University of Illinois. Since advancing her career in aquatic management, she hasn’t had the opportunity to teach as much as she would like. Catherine is currently the Aquatics Manager for the new Oro Valley Aquatic Center. Swimming is her passion and she loves to teach. While she really enjoys teaching people of all ages how to swim, she also loves working to “fine-tune� strokes to make swimmers more efficient in the water. Catherine has experience working with people 5 months to 82 years of age.
