introduction Dear Gallery 1265 family and everyone who shared our space with us over the past two years, It is with great feeling of emptiness as I come to realize I am writing an introduction for a Gallery 1265 publication for the last time. In this final publication of 2023, you will witness the artistic and creative potential of UTSC on a tour de force. A product of blood, sweat and tears, ATAF was just a tiny abstract concept for a student show that was being spitballed until it became an uncontainable wild creation that exponentially grew on it's undertakers' ambition. Today, we meet all together at UTSC to celebrate UofT's first tri-campus art festival ever to be undertaken within memorable history. With art exhibitions, short film festivals, music events, many workshops and countless memories, I hope you got the best of the festival. In addition to ATAF, I would also like to take a moment and celebrate and appereciate Gallery 1265's team of only 5 student staff and a wonderful volunteer base, who activated the UTSC with 177 artworks, 14 exhibitions, 91 artists, 5 public arts, 6 magazines over the past two years. A big thank you and a heartfelt goodbye to the many (forever indebted) friends who made it all possible, to the creative community at UTSC that raised and made us, and everyone who shared our space and unforgettable moments All the best for the last time, Polen

Ujwal Mantha Artist
Ujwal's The Patchwork House of Night was made entirely over the month of October 2022, as a part of Inktober, with one canvas being made every day. The work has been featured in the Scarborough Art’s 37th juried annual show, Chrysalis, and was the Second Place Visual Arts Winner.
Myuri Srikugan Artist
Myuri's project, Colourism: Abhirami, was recently displayed at Vinushan Bakery in Scarborough as a part of Scarborough Arts' All That is Golden. Her most recent documentary, Imminent Visions, won awards at the 2023 Annual Studio Art Awards Ceremony and was displayed at the Doris McCarthy Gallery and Cedar Ridge Creative Centre.

Thea is a student specializing in Management and Marketing at the University of Toronto Scarborough with a passion for art and design. Her latest work, OUTBOUND, is commissioned to be displayed at Pearson Airport.
Sonia is a writer with a Honours BA in Media Studies from the University of Toronto. Currently a freelance writer in Toronto, she writes articles, reviews, and occasional poetry. Her written work, Between is showcased in Scarborough Arts' 37th Annual Juried Exhibition: Chrysalis.
Nik Radulovic Artist
Nik's YouTube channel, where he posts his selfmade stop-motion animation videos, has garnered over 2 million viewers.
