Dear visitors, friends, and family of Gallery 1265,
Whether it's curiosity or nostalgia that brought you here, I welcome you to our magazine filled with our achievements and memories. I'm very proud of how much the gallery has grown throughout my three years here. And I can't wait to see how much more it'll grow.
Our team of four braved the huge undertaking of running ATAF for the second time. We came in with the goal of expanding our reach within UTSC and among the three campuses. Through partnerships and collaborations with UTM's Department of Visual Studies Student Society, Hart House Art Committee, and other student clubs across UofT, we filled a whole week with exhibitions, workshops, a film festival, and a grand reception. We continued to celebrate artists and art enthusiasts alike, in a larger scope than before.
There isn't enough space on this page to express my thanks to those who has been a part of the gallery since I started. Whether you exhibited with us, volunteered with us, worked with us, came to our receptions, visited us for a class visits, or got dragged by your friend to the gallery, thank you for showing us that our tiny corner can nurture a larger creative community in UTSC, and beyond.
