IMPACT REPORT 2024

ROOTS
GallantFew was founded in 2010 by Army Ranger Karl Monger to assist members of the Ranger community in reintegrating from active duty service to the civilian world. GallantFew expanded in 2014 to offer services to all members of the military community with a home base in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Over the past 14 years, GallantFew has assisted more than 7,800 members of the military community with connection, coaching, and counseling services from licensed and trained professionals in human resources, social work, and clinical counseling
VISION & MISSION
GallantFew is a leader in optimizing Veterans health. We provide Veterans hope by improving their functional fitness in five domains: emotional, spiritual, physical, professional, and social. We provide purpose by connecting Veterans to places of service in their communities.
GallantFew connects, coaches and counsels Veterans to lives full of hope and purpose.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR REPORT
GallantFew continues to provide world-class support to the Veteran communities we serve through a culture of accountability and continual improvement to optimize Veterans health Veterans health is assessed via the GallantFew Azimuth Check™ , a metric-based selfassessment tool designed to measure individual functional fitness. As the Veteran experience changes, we adapt our programs and procedures to best meet Veterans health needs
In 2024, GallantFew evolved to meet the forecasted future challenges facing Veterans Karl Monger, GallantFew’s founder and original executive director, established the counseling arm of GallantFew. We now provide direct clinical counseling to Veterans in our home state of Texas as well as Colorado Our connection program was recognized with a Veteran Affairs Administration National Adaptive Sports Grant for indoor rock climbing. We also found a physical home at Veterans Point in the Dallas Metroplex. Veterans Point supports Veterans in Dallas/Fort Worth and is part of the Texas Veterans Commission-Certified Military Veteran Peer Network
We offer a sincere “thank you” for your time, talent, and treasure that fuels GallantFew’s mission to provide Veterans with lives full of hope and purpose.
“If you want to go fast, go alone If you want to go far, go together.” Tony Mayne

STORIES OF HOPE & PURPOSE
‘‘It seems like this organization actually cares and wants to listen to me, it's very different from what I've experienced.’’

MARINE VETERAN:
The Subconscious Restructuring Coaching helped me get on a direction of taking out the noise to pinpoint/focus on what direction to follow RANGER:
You have had a tremendous impact on my life and I was very fortunate to get to assist and sit through multiple presentations at 1/75 From the little guys who don't always reach back out to say thank you, I just want to tell you, "Thank you!" Everything you are doing matters and makes an impact even if you don't always see the fruits of your labor.

ARMY VETERAN:
I climb with GallantFew because I needed a group of Veterans who kind of undestood my personality that was grown in the military. I didn't really fit in and struggled to connect with people who didn’t serve. I feel like I connect better and get to climb, which is something I love and challenges me It builds me up and builds others up as a group . I feel like I’m part of a team again!

VOLUNTEER:
I’m one of the thousands of Veterans who received counseling services from GallantFew in 2023, and supporting GallantFew is one way I can give back and stay connected to other Veterans who may be going through what I did

“GallantFew gave me my life.”
