Covid-19 lockdown was imposed in March and public health crisis intensified the challenges. The school was faced with a difficult task to procure supplies for learning materials and to access broad band connection. Paaralan Ng Elementarya Ng Lucban Special Education headed by Clarissa Terando received (click on link) contributions and grants to purchase a year supply of copy paper, ink cartridge and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) with the help from Cross of Life InFaith Community Foundation, Cross of Life Church and private individuals. These school, office and PPE supplies benefits 88 special needs students and 6 teachers. PEL special needs students include the visually and hearing impaired, autistic, cerebral palsy and intellectually disabled. As a public school, PEL SPED is using the country’s K-12 curriculum.
