About the programme

The School of Computing Science and Engineering has designed the Programme of B.Tech -Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. This program is a professional engineering undergraduate degree course. Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Programme prepare students with the skills to perform intelligent data analysis which is a key component in numerous real-world applications. During the past ten years, data science has emerged as one of the most high-growth, dynamic, and lucrative careers in technology. This course aims at providing not only the core technologies such as data science, data mining and data modelling but also gives intensive inputs in the areas of data analytics and big data analytics. By the end of this course, the students will gain cross-disciplinary skills across fields such as statistics and logic, and data scientists and will have career opportunities in healthcare, business, eCommerce, social networking companies, climatology, biotechnology, genetics, and other important areas. The major focus of this programme is to equip students with statistical, mathematical reasoning, knowledge discovery, and visualization skills.

Eligibility

Minimum 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) in Class XIIth

For Lateral Entry:-

Passed Diploma examination with at least 50% marks in any branch of Engineering and Technology.

Or

Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.

For Migration from Other Universities:

1) B.E./B.Tech Ist year minimum 60% marks or equivalent

2) 60% PCM or above at XII level.
