To inaugurate their new venue, Galeries Bartoux, in collaboration with Dalí Universe, has conceived an ambitious artistic project : to place the universe of Salvador Dalí in dialogue with the magic of La Serenissima
In the imagination of the master of Surrealism, Venice is a place wherestone melts, where palaces float as if in a dream. A city suspended in time, where past and future converge in an eternal present. A surreal carnival where every alley becomes an illusion, a trompe-l’œil, or an unexpected metamorphosis. Salvador Dalí
visited Venice on several occasions, finding in this unique city a constant source of inspiration.
This dialogue between Salvador Dalí and Venice will be embodied through :
