The setting for the great “Anne of Green Gables” stories is Prince Edward Island, a wondrous place that we will visit including the actual “Green Gables” house where Anne grew up. So much of the history of the Northeast and of my native Michigan is tied to the French missionaries who came through these ports and finally established missions in the new northern territory. And Quebec City is like visiting France without the great cost! This is a chance to eat delicious French food and practice speaking the French you learned in high school and college. Yay!
