Founded in 2007, The Gallery of Local Art has been a starting point for many local artists. You are sure to be greeted by a local artist every time you visit, as the volunteer staff is made up of the artists from the gallery. The gallery holds monthly shows, ranging from Plein Air paint offs, photography, pottery, and much more. Artists receptions are held every first Friday of the month from 6pm to 8pm, and are free to the public.

When it was completed in 1902, the New York Herald proclaimed that Whitehall, Henry Flagler’s Gilded Age estate in Palm Beach, was “more wonderful than any palace in Europe, grander and more magnificent than any other private dwelling in the world.” Today, Whitehall is a National Historic Landmark and is open to the public as the Flagler Museum, offering self-guided tours, changing exhibitions, and special programs. March 3rd - Mixing It Up: A Celebration of Cocktail Culture, 6:30 to 8:30 pm $40 for Members at other levels $50 for non-Members Free for Whitehall Society Members and Legacy Members Mixing It Up is a celebration held in honor of the young professionals of the Whitehall Society, but tickets are available for all Museum Members and non-members alike! This annual cocktail party supports the Museum’s educational programming for children. The evening’s festivities will feature delicious refreshments and live entertainment including a performance by Afrique Ngozi Dance and Drum. April 23rd - Bluegrass in the Pavilion 3:00 pm $35 per person Free for Legacy Members Advance purchase required IBMA 2021 New Artist of the Year nominee Merle Monroe will be headlining the Museum’s annual bluegrass concert held in the Flagler Kenan Pavilion, a one-of-a-kind setting featuring Henry Flagler’s Railcar No. 91 and panoramic views of Lake Worth. High Fidelity, also a nominee for 2021 New Artist of the Year, will be opening the show. Refreshments will be available during intermission. All proceeds bene t the Museum’s education programs for children.
