A Series of Community Conversations 2023
The Greenacres Community Center is continuing to host a series of monthly CommunityConversations covering many topics that may affect our daily lives.

The 1.5 hour sessions are free and held from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. You can join us in person at the Greenacres Banquet Hall located at 501 Swain Boulevard, Greenacres, and Q & A time will also be included.
Each session is open to a multi-age audience and filled with useful information. Additional resources will also be made available. Listed are some of the upcoming topics that will be discussed. Call our Community and Recreation Services Department at 561-642-2090 to register.
High School students can earn three (3) Community Service hours for attending the 1.5 hour in-person sessions. Visit our website for future upcoming dates and topics.

How To Enter
● Photographers of all ages welcome Open to residents, non-residents, and City employees.
● Submit your high-resolution jpegs or pngs to: https://greenacresfl.gov/comunity-rec/webform/photo-contest
● Include participant’s Name & Contact information, Photo title, and City of Greenacres location where photo was taken.
● Limit three (3) Entries per Contestant. Entries will be judged by a random selected committee.
Announcement
● Winners will be announced via Facebook, City Website, and recognized at City Council meeting.
● Top three (3) photos will win prizes and also be framed & displayed in City Hall Lobby.
● Photos taken during any year are eligible, so long as they have not been entered in a previous year’s contest.

Our Community and Recreation Services Department offers a convenient and friendly environment with a variety of recreational activities, programs and events to benefit our residents of all ages, and our growing business community, all year long. Classrooms are available for hands on activities, and rental facilities are also available for that special occasion.

The Youth Programs Department provides year-round After School and Camp Programs for Elementary through High School students throughout Palm Beach County. The programs are licensed by the Palm Beach County Health Department, and nationally accredited through the Council on Accreditation (COA).
Athletic Leagues
Greenacres Youth Athletic Leagues are facilitated through the City’s Community & Recreation Services Department, Lake Worth Sharks, Inc., and Florida Vipers. Enrollment is available to children ages 5-14 years old. Registration fees include player evaluations, draft, skill development instruction, sportsmanship, fair play, game uniform, and end of season closing ceremony.
Registration forms are available at the Community and Recreation Services Department and may be submitted with payment and child’s birth certificate to the Greenacres Community Center, located at 501 Swain Boulevard, Greenacres, Florida, 33463. Senior Classes
Senior programs provide an opportunity for participants age 60 and older to gather in a safe environment to enjoy educational and fun activities. Registration Each class instructor manages their class registrations and payments. Submit the completed registration form(s) together with full payment required to process registration for selected activity.

• The City reserves the right to cancel, postpone, delay rental functions, delay athletic league functions, practices or games, and close fields or close facility due to inclement weather, or any other factor that may impair the safety of the participants.
• Cancellations of classes are managed by each class instructor.

• The Registration Fees are non-refundable.
Cancellation
• Exceptions may be granted on a case-by-case basis and/or with a doctor’s note. Refunds shall be subject to a 15% administrative fee.
• If payment is made for a session and child did not attend, a refund must be requested within the first seven (7) days of session. Any requests past the seventh day will not be approved.
