O-NUT PAVILION
The O-nut pavilion is one that offers a sensorial journey that looks into the exploration of rhythm and hierarchy with an incorporation of spatial qualities of ventilation and light interplay. As the user approaches the entrance located below the stairs, a pathway that leads to the first floor is explored. This pathway is ornamented with vertical louvers of different thickness leading to a wavy balustrades on the first floor that allows the user to experience a rhythmic play of light, shadow and wind throughout the journey. As one climbs to the first floor, he/she is met with a small enclosed space for them to rest and meditate hence having some quiet and alone time. Hierarchy is further experienced as one moves from the ground floor spaces to the first floor spaces.
