“Sine Sole Sileo Dining” encapsulates the essence of timekeeping’s rich history, from ancient civilization to modern society, where the sun’s journey across the sky served as a natural timekeeper. This luxury dining experience, inspired by the antique motto “I am silent without the sun” engraved on sundials, pays homage to the cultural significance of timekeeping and the craftsmanship behind sundial creation. Just as sundials intricately track the sun’s movement, this interior seamlessly weaves together history, artistry, and gastronomy, emphasizing the profound connection between time, light, and life in Provence. Operating only during daylight hours, this authentic dining journey honors the tradition of timekeeping and celebrates the enduring legacy of humanity’s fascination with the sun’s journey through the sky.

St. Frank celebrates diverse artisans and the stories behind their hand-crafted products. Through the exploration of deserted paths, this project aims to commemorate these cultural heritage pieces in a corporate office space. Organic forms found in the mineral layers of rock sediment are simulated with rhythmic ornamentation and color, emphasizing ST. Frank’s mission to connect people with global markets.
The ceiling design resembles groves in canyons, creating a radial circulation from passageways that guide users through the space. The circulation creates paths throughout the walkways from the ceiling soffits and materiality, resembling mineral layers to mimic canyon groves . Cashmere is upholstered to the ceiling between the soffits, helping to reduce noise in the high-traffic areas and the Executive Conference Room.
