Inspired by Claude Monet: Water Lilies

Throwback to when I participated in the Manado Post ‘Xpresi Party’ 2024, creating a miniature with the theme ‘The Past’. My miniature was inspired by the remnants of the Majapahit Kingdom, which was the largest and strongest kingdom in the archipelago at thatt time. My task was to connect the theme ‘The Past’ with Manado Post as the largest media networks in North Sulawesi. My concept tells the story of the differences between how information was written in the past and how it is done now. In the past, people wrote on Prasasti (text carved or written on physical objects like stone) that contained important information about events of that time, whereas now we can use online media like Manado Post to access information or news
