Decoded dreams

A lány feküdt a földön, a hideg belemart csontjaiba. Alvó pózban hevert, térdeit könyökéhez húzva, mintha védené önmagát a föld rideg ölelésétől. /

The girl was lying on the ground, the cold seeping into her bones. She lay in a sleeping position, herkneesdrawntoherelbowsasifto protect herself from the harsh embrace of the earth. She dreamed with her shead in her hands — but her dream was not an escape, butapainfultransformation.

For a moment it seemed as if she wanted to get up again, but her arms shattered like old potsherds, twisted out of themselves. Every little part spilled out, stretching beyond its limits to dissolve into new forms for a moment.

Lábai lassan, mintha kettéhasadtak volna, különváltak, teste és tudata eltérő ösvényeket választottak.

/

Slowly, as if they split in two, her legs separated, and her body and consciousness chosedifferentpaths.

Her arms hung long and motionless in a black river that gently swept him into the passing away but did not let him go completely. The river reached out, called, and swallowed everything that was him—bone, flesh, thought.

In the end, nothing was left of it, and yet it was there. There remained a subtle shadow of existence, which was almost a question of itself: if we continue to live after our death, what can remain of who we were? Her bones continuedtodreamasagrotesqueknot.

Her skull flashed a twisted smile as if it held some eternal secret. But she was no longer herself, and yet every thought, every feeling, everylaughwashiddenthere.
