Objective

The objective of this project was to to create a home based off characters of the movie given to us. The design of the space had to reflect what the character was interested in, what we thought they would enjoy having in their home and what we believe their design style would be. We used SketchUp for the choice operation of this project to give us an introduction into how to design.

Concept

My concept for “Sabrina” is a reflection of the 1950’s, when the movie was filmed. I used the colors that were most popular during that time, the Scandinavian design style, and incorporated a touch of Parisian style to tie in the fact that Sabrina had lived in Paris for a short while during the movie. I also wanted to make sure the space was something that would look as though it was a home that would be popular in today's modern style.
