EDGE inspires those aiming towards the common goal of making a change through one eco-friendly material or product at a time.

Leviat

The revolutionary Ancon Thermal Windpost is designed to span vertically between floors, to provide additional lateral support for panels of masonry. It has been specially designed and engineered to minimise thermal bridging in masonry cavity walls and offers up to an impressive 70% reduction in thermal transmission through the span of the windpost. The Ancon Thermal Windpost, featuring integral non-combustible insulation, guarantees that the BRE level for thermal performance is met in all cases – an assurance otherwise unseen on the windpost market. This gamechanging product is helping both contractors and building designers alike to realise the thermal performance aspirations of the detail.

SDS Limited

An innovator in water technology, SDS identifies and delivers engineering solutions that enable global water infrastructure to operate sustainably and with maximum efficiency. In the 20 years since its founding, SDS has evolved to be a UK leader in sustainable drainage systems. Its comprehensive service range includes designing, manufacturing, installing and maintaining water management systems which capture and treat water before controlling its return to the natural water cycle or retaining it for reuse or recycling. At Futurebuild, SDS will showcase a range of its latest innovations in water recycling technology. Each solution facilitates the adoption of rainwater harvesting to address the declining availability of potable water supplies whilst protecting developments from flooding and pollution. SDS will be taking a stand for water security.

Cintoo

Cintoo Cloud bridges the gap between Reality Capture and BIM including Digital Twin applications. For AEC and Industry 4.0, Cintoo offers a cloud-based SaaS solution to manage 3D scanned data collected from the built environment.

Cintoo Cloud is agnostic to most scanning and VR offerings and supports static & mobile laser scan data, drone data & 360 panoramic images. Cintoo is browser based allowing experts and non-experts access to high res 3D scans and models, anywhere at any time. Cintoo Cloud uses a point cloud-to-mesh engine with no compromise on scan accuracy and density. Download scans from the cloud and distribute them in mesh or in their source point cloud format. Connect to Autodesk BIM 360, BIM Track and Procore to enable QA/QC and issue tracking workflows to compare as-builds to designs. Leading organizations benefit from Cintoo Cloud’s capabilities which meet the needs of Digital Twin, BIM and construction customers for their construction and asset management needs.

ecobuild.brussels

Discover the network of Brussels’ sustainability experts at ecobuild.brussels’ stand. Brussels has been building energy-efficient buildings for over a decade and the Passivhaus standard is mandatory since 2015. Ambitious goals, such as elevating the energy performance of every existing home and making the whole building sector circular, should allow us to reduce the negative pressures on our environment drastically. Come and meet some of the 250 cluster members that made Brussels one of the frontrunners regarding sustainability and circularity in the built environment and that are making the transition happen today in Brussels. They will gladly help you with your green transition and assist you with innovative techniques and services the the following fields: regenerative architecture & urbanism, futureproof real estate, healthy living environments, circular retrofitting.

540 World

540 WORLD is a regenerative circular design consultancy. We help the built environment industry transform products and projects to non-toxic, circular design through safe, circular and sustainably certified, planet- positive material choices.

At Futurebuild 2023, 540 WORLD will showcase the largest UK collaboration of Cradle to Cradle Certified® material innovations to date, including Accoya wood, Graphenstone paint, International Timber – showing the world’s first Accoya timber fender, Honext fibre board, Shaw Contract carpet tiles, Staco Gratings steel and aluminium, Magna Glaskeramik sintered crystal, Wineo’s Purline flooring, Rewind event carpet, together with knowledge-partner, the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute, all on 540 WORLD’s stand H26.

Smart Architectural Aluminium

A great addition to our portfolio, the new AluSpace Interior Screening System has been developed to create light and airy internal environments. The system’s sleek and elegant lines perfectly complement our window and door ranges. AluSpace can be used to divide or delineate both residential and commercial spaces of any shape and size, while at the same time providing an effective acoustic barrier. With a choice of hinged single and double doors, as well as pivot and sliding options to accompany the fixed glazed screen, the flexible and versatile system provides almost limitless design possibilities.

Extruded at our UK manufacturing plant in the southwest of England, the system has been designed and developed with ease of fabrication and installation in mind, delivering not only outstanding aesthetics, but also great value. The elegant system requires only minimal maintenance, with the high-quality design providing many years of assured, reliable performance.

Myglobalhome

MyGlobalHome’s sustainable property platform PropCode, provides the essential ESG data allowing lenders and property owners to measure, report and improve the carbon impact within the built environment in the drive towards net-zero. The Minimum Energy Efficiency Standard (MEES) requires landlords to ensure that by 2025 all newly rented properties reach an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of C or above. A recent study showed 58% of UK housing stock had an EPC rating of D and below.

PropCode provides the necessary intelligence to certify ESG accreditation on both new and existing buildings, in real-time throughout their lifetime. Certified ESG data allows owners and lenders to streamline the complex ESG data reporting requirements, increasing the flow of impact capital into the built environment.

Calmfloor

Our contribution to Futurebuild’s Innovation Trail is CALMFLOOR. First brought to market in 2022, this ingenious unit is destined to have a major impact on how vibrations are dealt with in building projects. Despite being widely available for less than a year, CALMFLOOR systems have already been supplied to customers in the UK, Europe and the US.

CALMFLOOR technology works like noise cancelling headphones, by continuously monitoring floor vibrations and generating forces to cancel them out. This provides world-leading vibration control performance that can be used to fix problematic floors, improve floors for change of use etc. CALMFLOOR reduces material usage in new buildings and in-turn, their carbon footprint. This exceptional performance means that FSD Active becoming an Innovation Partner at Futurebuild 2023 is a logical course of action.

MPA The Concrete Centre

The Concrete Centre provides material, design and construction guidance. Our aim is to enable all those involved in the design, use and performance of concrete to realise the potential of the material. They provide published guidance, seminars, courses, online resources and industry research to the design community.
