Welcome to the 2025-2026 Canberra LGBTIQ DIRECTORY. This unique annual publication, along with our popular website, is a community focused project proudly produced by FUSE Magazine — Canberra's local LGBTIQ+ publication for over sixteen years.
The LGBTIQ DIRECTORY has been created in response to the identification that LGBTIQ+ people in Canberra and surrounding regions need a central place to find support, community and business pathways.
We aim not just to provide a directory but also to encourage and promote rich and fulfilling lives in our community. We hope it inspires you to explore new opportunities and connections.
Dedicated to supporting our diverse community, the LGBTIQ DIRECTORY is packed with essential services and support networks, as well as LGBTIQ+ social and sporting organisations.
We've got everyday living covered too. If you're looking to have your car serviced, restyle your home, buy a gift from a queer artist or need some legal advice, the businesses advertised here are not just LGBTIQ-friendly, they embrace our whole rainbow community.
By choosing to use the services of the people listed in this directory, you will be supporting LGBTIQ-owned and/or operated organisations as well as companies that are actively supporting our community — it's a win-win!
The FUSE LGBTIQ DIRECTORY is also available online at lgbtiq.directory where you will find new businesses and community groups popping up throughout the year.

AGA's Calendar of Events has a variety of community happenings ranging from workshops and discussion groups to weekly drop-in sessions, and regular youth and family groups. AGA also offers a wide range of relevant up to date resources that can support trans, gender diverse and intersex peoples, their families and allies, as well as the wider community.

Originally founded in response to the HIV epidemic in the ACT, Meridian has evolved into a dynamic, community-controlled, peer-led organisation that champions the health and wellbeing of people living with or impacted by HIV, LGBTIQA+ individuals, sex workers, and other communities who experience stigma and marginalisation.
We are holistic in our approach to improving the health and wellbeing of our communities. We know that our communities are diverse — our health needs are not all the same.
Our person-centered programs and services recognise that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to improving health and wellbeing.
Our multi-disciplinary team blends and harnesses lived experience with evidence-informed practices to deliver impactful, person-centred care.
Our services are designed to meet the diverse needs of our communities. We provide holistic support for individuals living with or affected by HIV — from HIV prevention, testing and education to peer navigation, counselling to case management and individual advocacy. We provide individual and group support to people living with HIV including regular peer events.
Our multi-disciplinary wellbeing team provides free and low-cost mental health and wellbeing services including psychology, counselling and peer work for people impacted by HIV, LGBTIQA+ people and sex workers. Our services are trauma-informed and offered in a safe, inclusive environment.
Health promotion and harm reduction are central to our work at Meridian. We provide tailored health promotion resources, sexual health testing, safer sex products and harm reduction resources, and we are a secondary NSP.
Sex Worker Outreach Program ACT is a sex workerled program hosted by Meridian that promotes sexual health, sex worker rights and safety. SWOP also plays a key advocacy role in the ongoing push for the decriminalisation of sex work in the ACT.
Meridian supports older people, particularly LGBTIQA+ people and those from diverse backgrounds, navigating aged care services and reducing social isolation. We provide Care Finder services and the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme in the ACT and region.
Meridian is a leader in training and education, offering programs on LGBTIQA+ awareness, HIV education, aged care inclusivity, and sex worker awareness.
Our trainers are skilled educators and community members. Our training offerings are designed to ensure that participants are provided with practical knowledge and skills to ensure safety and inclusion.
Central to our mission is community engagement and fostering community connection. Throughout the year we host regular and one-off events that celebrate and nurture the rich diversity within our communities.
We host the Pride Hub at our centrally-located office in Turner. The Pride Hub offers a safe and inclusive meeting space for local LGBTIQA+ community groups, organisations and services.
