Loch Ard Gorge, located south west of Melbourne, along the Great Ocean Road is a must see!

What a magnificent place on earth! The aqua blue colours blow your mind! We were lucky enough to have arrived early (there’s a quick tip!) to have this beach secluded and all to ourselves. The feeling was nothing short of complete serenity and immersion in nature.

SPRING.... SUMMER?

These flowers at Split-Point Lighthouse symbolise both of those seasons to me, especially when those flowers are lush and yellow. Wow!

Like everyone else we trekked up to the lighthouse, did the 1.8km easy grade walk to get a closer look and feel, we were impressed! But I felt it was difficult to really ‘capture' its beauty. That was until we made it down back to the carpark, where I saw this small 'garden' of flowers facing directly at the lighthouse and just like a child I got really excited…

Drive here or stop at the bend on the road below to take a short scenic walk along the riverside before the

(steep) walk up to the lookout. Pack your camera, sunscreen and water.

Just a perfect place for a short cliff walk or stroll with your best friend or girlfriend or boyfriend or anyone you like. A beautiful and simple stop along the Great Ocean Road. A reminder of the maritime history, that won't disappoint you.

If you feel peckish afterwards you can head to one of many coffee shops across the road from the parking lot for a snack
