Arabella and Mandryka have had a relationship-ending dispute. Arabella prepares to go to bed, but sees Mandryka has not abandoned her and is sitting at the bottom of her staircase, waiting to see her. The two of them reconcile.

Johann Strauss, II (1825–1899)
Eisenstein leads his wife, Rosalinde, and maid, Adele to believe he is on his way to serve his short prison sentence. Adele declares that she’s off to visit a sick aunt and Rosalinde will stay home to lament her husband’s departure. In reality, they are all preparing to attend the same party.

Falstaff has sent identical love letters to Alice Ford and Meg Page, who are joined by Mistress Quickly, the town gossip, and Nanetta, Alice’s daughter. Amused by his arrogance, they compare the letters and decide to take revenge. Rather than reject him, they plan to play along and lure him into a trap. Alice agrees to encourage his advances, while Mistress Quickly acts as the go-between. Nannetta joins in the conspiracy, and the women revel in their shared wit and mischief.

While Mercedes and Frasquita agree, Carmen announces that she will not be joining them as she has taken a new lover. The group teases her and insists that the heist cannot happen without her.

John and Elizabeth Proctor struggle with lingering tension from his past affair with Abigail Williams. Their conversation reveals a strained marriage, marked by mistrust and restrained emotion. As they attempt to reconnect, the weight of unspoken resentment remains. At the same time, they discuss the growing hysteria in Salem, which begins to encroach on their private lives.

Rosalba is a young journalist and devotee of the legendary opera singer, Florencia Grimaldi. Sadly Rosalba is faced with unfortunate news as she tries to attend Florencia’s concert and finds herself comforted by a not-so-helpful stranger.

Léo Delibes (1836–1891)
After finding themselves with a moment of free time, Lakmé and her servant, Mallika, go down by the river to take a break. As time passes, they get to leave the worries of their world behind and spend time picking flowers, playing in the river, and listening to the sounds of the birds in nature. It is a rare time when they shed their status and can be together in friendship and sisterhood.

Giacomo Puccini (1858–1924)
It is a cold and unforgiving winter in the city. After falling into a whirlwind love, Rodolfo and Mimi tearfully decide to part ways due to Rodolfo’s jealousy and inability to financially support Mimi, who is slowly dying of tuberculosis. They ultimately decide to stay together through winter, so they both may be comforted by the beauty of spring. The couple is interrupted by a heated Marcello and Musetta who storm into the scene, arguing about Musetta’s flirtatious habits.

Magnifico wants the Prince to choose one of his daughters as his new bride, but he isn’t aware that the man in front of him is actually the prince’s valet, Dandini, in disguise. Magnifico confronts the disguised Dandini, insisting that he marry one of his daughters. Dandini attempts to stall, but is forced to reveal his true identity.

After cursing Papageno, a frivolous bird catcher, to be silent as a punishment for lying, the powerful Three Ladies return with orders for Prince Tamino from the Queen of the Night. Because the Prince is so taken by Pamina, her daughter, she orders him to rescue Pamina from the sorcerer Sarastro with a magical flute as his guide. Additionally, Papageno is enlisted to help the Prince on his journey, receiving a magical music box before they are sent on their way.
