Welcome from Graneta Thank you all for supporting our program here at Graneta and we hope the seasons will favour you all in the future. With a trying couple of years, the Graneta 2020 bull sale team represents our commitment to producing quality bulls with a balance of fertility, growth & carcase traits which is proof we are heading in the right direction.

We at Graneta made a deliberate decision not to present bulls overly fat on sale day. At the end of the day, we are selling Limousin & Angus genetics, not a feed program. The proof was evident when I visited clients in the worst drought and I could see our bulls alive and still working.

The first Vision L51 calves in this year’s sale are well above our expectations being soft, excellent bone and super quiet and we are excited to see what our clients think of them. The line up of this year’s bulls are all very even and I think they are a real representation of what Graneta has been trying to breed. Our Angus bulls are only small in numbers but they are pretty handy all the same, with a range of different genetics.

All bulls have been vaccinated with 3 germ for tick fever, 7in1, pestiguard and 3 day. They will all be semen tested, vet checked, scanned and breedplan recorded.

Complimentary morning tea & lunch is provided plus free delivery of our bulls. If you would like to inspect our bulls before sale day please contact either myself or one of the GDL team.

Docility Warranty All animals are sold as having acceptable docility as defined by scores 1,2 and better than a score of 3 of the official scoring system used by the Australian Limousin Breeders Society. The purchaser is to have the right to a full refund of the purchase price of the animal (excluding any costs and expenses of the purchaser)within 28days of the date of the sale or a replacement animal of similar quality and price to be supplied by the vendor subject to submitiing a veterinarian's report stating that the animal is of unacceptable docility defined as score 3,4 or 5 in the official scoring system of the ALBS. The veterinarian must state that in his opinion the animal has not been mistreated in a way which would have affected it's behaviour since being sold to the purchaser. The veterinary report (together with a statutory declaration by the purchaser to the effect that the substance of the report is believed to be true and correct) must be forwarded to the vendor within 14days after the sale date.

Limousin Quality Assurance All bulls are to be sold as fertile and capable of natural service. The purchaser is to have the right to a full refund of the purchase price of the bull (excluding any costs and expenses of the purchaser) within 6months of the date of the sale subject to submitting a veterinarian's reort stating that the bull is infertile or incapable of natural service.

The veterinarian must also state that in his opinion the bull has not suffered any injury or illness since being sold to the purchaser which could have affected his breeding ability.

The veterinary report (together with a statutory declaration by the purchaser to the effect that the substance of the report is believed by the purchaser to be true and correct) must be forwarded to the vendor (with a copy to ALBS) within 14 days of the date being six months after the sale date.
