Vintage.

Originating from the description and creation of wine, the term vintage is used to describe the year or place in which wine of high quality was produced Now in modern day, the term vintage is used to describe the time of which truly anything was created, but is most commonly used in the world of fashion As it holds on to a mere reflection of the once present, once reality, once norm; I suppose we can call it the past.. Vintage is a fashion-lovers best friend and worst nightmare This concept of ?vintage?could be referring to haute-couture, ready-to-wear, street style, or any common day garment. Oddly enough, this term "vintage" can also refer to a person?s own fashion journey
As a young girl in the 2000s who?s fashion icons consisted of Paris Hilton, My Mom, and Hannah Montana, the ?vintage?style relative to my own life refers to low-rise jeans, cotton scarves, baseball hats, arm socks, Limited-Too, and a whole lot of sneakers. Most of my untamed and bizarre behavior as a child, matched perfectly with my tacky wheelie shoes and long sleeve under a short sleeve get-up. I felt most powerful in long shorts and a spaghetti strapped tank top with bedazzled writing on the front These small memories remind me of where I once found my love for personal expression. Think back to when you were a young fashionista What caught your eye?

As the 00s made their way to the 10s, I started dressing in low rise True Religion jeans and a weathered baseball hat, only because it reminded me of what my mom would wear as she ran around making sure everyone was where they needed to be. This made me feel as though I was just as strong as she was! Today, I wear turtlenecks, rustic boots and bohemian jewelry, to remind me of my her as she works hard to run her own business. Of course, I do not wake up every morning trying to look or dress exactly like my mother, but it's the subtle touches of inspiration that tend to stick with us for a lifetime Lets face it, inspiration is what allows us to curate an ever-evolving style and uniqueness of our own.
At least that?s how it happened for me. So as Paris Hilton, My Mother, and Hannah Montana grew older and wiser, so did I. I started to choose my own preferences based on my own life, incorporating my modern expression with a hint of my vintage taste and past style roots The more I live, the more inspiration I receive, the more character I build, and therefore, the more fashionable I become It was only when I recognized this, that I was able to envision how the life span of any one of us has the power to represent a complete fashion rev or ev oltution Although I cannot deny it, the more unique and evolutionary one's fashion sense is, the more remarkable their fashion footprints will be. Therefore, a singular person will always have the ability to cultivate an entire style tree, relative to their own personal battles, breakthroughs, and awakenings. All great collections withhold an intricately deep purpose by resembling a valuable idea that the designer has strategically sprinkled throughout their cohesive masterpiece
Well..what brings all of these abstract purposes together?
