Traditional Day Camps

Our Traditional Day Camps offer a vibrant summer experience where children from Pre-K through 10th Grade build confidence, independence, and a lasting sense of community. Rooted in core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, our programs provide a safe, inclusive environment for kids to thrive. From the foundational Explorers (Grades Pre-K–K) to the skill-building Pathfinders (Grades 1–5) and leadership-focused ‘Tweens and Teens (Grades 6–9), every camper finds a place to belong while exploring the beauty of the outdoors.

Teen Leadership

Empower the next generation through mentorship, service, and essential life skills! Students in Grades 9-10 can join our Leaders-In-Training track to focus on community building and socialemotional growth, while those entering Grade 10 can also gain hands-on job experience in our Counselors-In-Training* program, working with our youngest campers. *FREE for high school students in Sullivan and Ulster County.

Specialty Camps

Dive deep into a specific passion! Our Specialty Camps are designed for campers who want to sharpen their skills without missing out on the magic of summer. Whether your child is a budding chef, a future engineer, or a rising star, we provide the expert instruction and immersive environment they need to thrive.

With over 20 unique specialty tracks, there truly is something for every interest:

Creative & Performing Arts – From center stage to the pottery wheel, young creatives will flourish.

STEM & Innovation – Build and test new creations or solve mysteries in puzzle-filled adventures.

Outdoor Skills & Sports –Level up your game or master the great outdoors.

Culinary Arts – Stir up some fun in the kitchen while learning hands-on cooking techniques. We believe in balance. Campers spend a dedicated portion of their day immersed in their specialty, then transition to traditional camp favorites like swimming, group games, and creative crafts. It’s the perfect blend of focused learning and pure summer fun!

Horse & Farm Camps

Whether your child is a budding equestrian or an aspiring farmer, Horse and Farm Day Camps offer an unforgettable summer of hands-on discovery. Campers in Grades 3-9 can dive into our Equestrian Camps for two weeks of intensive riding and horsemanship at Main Campus, while younger adventurers (Grades 1-6) can explore Pony Camp for a perfect mix of riding and traditional play at our East Valley Ranch or Farm Camp to experience life on our 515-acre working farm. From daily lessons to harvesting crops, these programs provide a unique opportunity for kids of all skill levels to bond with animals and embrace the magic of nature.

Fees & Financial Aid

Camp fees vary by program and tier. Frost Valley offers a voluntary tier fee structure (4 tiers). The lowest tier is only available to local families (tier D). All campers receive the same experience, no matter which amount you choose to pay. As you consider your family’s financial situation, please also consider the true cost of camp (tier A).

If our fees are still out of your family’s budget, additional financial aid is available.
