ITINERARY november 17, Depart USA Depart USA via overnight commercial flight service to Paris, France.
november 18, arrive in paris Arrive in Paris. Frontiers would be happy to assist in booking your pre-shoot hotel in Paris and can offer exclusive amenities and insider knowledge. Note: Pre- and/or post-shoot Elegant Journeys itinerary extensions can easily be arranged.
November 19, Train to Burgundy Depart Paris via TGV Train to Le Creusot Station. Arrive Burgundy early afternoon and transfer for check in at Chateau de Villette. Enjoy a welcome dinner and orientation.
November 20 & 21, Two Full Days of Shooting Two full days of shooting. There are usually +/- four drives daily with a bird count of 250 birds per day over an 8-gun line. The estate’s varied terrain with wooded ridges, open valleys, and pockets of water creates ideal conditions for high, sporting pheasants, quick partridge, and dynamic duck drives that challenge and reward in equal measure. The non-shooters often enjoy a full day of spectating in the field with the line of guns. There are also great guides in the region and Frontiers can arrange a full day trip to visit the town of Beaune to explore the Burgundian gastronomy and the wineries.
