What to expect
Located in Argentina's northern province of Corrientes, Pira Lodge enjoys a tropical “Floridian” climate and is repeatedly labeled one of the world’s top guest accommodations by returning anglers. Pira affords you crystal clear waters, ideal for sight-fishing for cruising dorado with floating lines and topwater flies.
Pira Lodge strategically places anglers in a habitat-rich bottleneck where the marsh and Corriente River ecosystems converge. Here, Dorado is king.
ITINERARY
Jan 15, Departure to argentina
Depart your hometown via overnight flight service to Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Jan 16, Arrive in Buenos aires
Arrive Buenos Aires, Ezeiza International Airport. Upon arrival, you will be met just outside the customs area by a Frontiers arranged guide, who will provide your transfer to the hotel of your choice, where room accommodations will be confirmed and prepaid on your behalf for one night. Remainder of the day at leisure in Buenos Aires; all meals independently.
Jan 17, Arrive at pira lodge
Today at a pre-arranged time, you will be met by a representative from Argentina Jet, who will provide your transfer to the San Fernando Charter Airport and assist you with luggage for your flight to the Pira Lodge Runway.
Depart San Fernando via Argentina Jets private charter service to the Pira Lodge Runway. Flight duration: approximately 1 hour, 30 minutes. Landing strip depends on charter aircraft and weather.
You will be met by your host and guide and shown to your room prior to orientation. Time for orientation and unpacking. Rest after your journey and enjoy the pool and lodge environment or ready tackle for the fishing to come.
Note: Possible fishing on arrival—costs may apply.
Jan 18 - 23, Six full days of FISHING.
Six full days of fishing in the wilds of the Iberá, returning to the lodge for lunch, drinks, a swim in the pool and a nice siesta. After the midday break, anglers return to the water to take advantage of the evening bite.
*Non-fishing guests can spend their days on horseback, riding along observing birds, marsh deer, and capybaras in their wild, natural habitat.
Jan 24, Depart from argentina
After breakfast, your guide will provide your transfer to the Pira Lodge Runway, where your Argentina Jets charter awaits.
Depart Pira Lodge Runway via private charter service to Buenos Aires.
Arrive Buenos Aires. Upon arrival a Frontiers arranged guide will meet and transfer you to your Buenos Aires hotel for your choice, where room accommodations will be confirmed and prepaid on your behalf for one night. Remainder of the day at leisure in Buenos Aires; all meals independently.

Arrive Buenos Aires. Upon arrival a Frontiers arranged guide will meet and transfer you to the Buenos Aires, Ezeiza International Airport in time for you to check-in for your departing flight home or continue on with a second adventure.
Jan 25, Depart from argentina
Today your Frontiers arranged guide, will meet and provide your transfer to the Buenos Aires, Ezeiza International Airport, and assist you with check-in for your flight home.
Depart Buenos Aires via overnight flight service to the United States.

Pira Lodge Fishing Rate (7-night/6-day hosted trip with Barry Beck): $8,175.00 per person.(Based on Double Occupancy & Shared Guide) Pira Fishing License: $100.00 per person.
Buenos Aires / Pira Lodge Round-Trip Charter (Estimated cost): $1,900.00 per person. Note: Prices subject to change based on fuel and number of anglers on the trip. Buenos Aires Transfers and Hotel Accommodations: Price to be determined and added to final invoice.
INCLUSIONS
:
Deluxe lodge accommodations (double occupancy); meals with wine, soft drinks, beer and local spirits at the lodge. One boat and guide per two anglers. Pira Lodges offers 7 bedrooms and 7 baths.
EXCLUSIONS:
Commercial air travel from point of departure to Buenos Aires and return; transfer from Corrientes or Resistencia if applicable; charter flights if applicable; meals, overnights and items of personal expenditures in Buenos Aires; special request liquor; overweight luggage charges, fishing licenses, regional transfers if applicable and gratuities.
DEPOSIT PAYMENT REFUND POLICY:
A non-refundable deposit of 50 percent of the land cost is due at time of reservation. Balance payable at time of final land package invoicing. Final / full payment is also non-refundable unless client replacement is provided.
