Take Your Travel Experience Further: The Hosted Trip Difference Unparalleled Service and Knowledge Every Step of the Way Dear Traveler, Why Argentina? As trip hosts, the answer is simple, it’s dependable. But it’s more than just great fishing. It’s the culture of the country and weather that is pretty predictable. It’s the American West without the people and the progress of the last 100 years. The vastness sometimes overwhelms us and one trip is seldom enough for anyone. The lodges that we visit each year are the best that Patagonia has to offer. While each is distinctively different, in many ways they are also similar. They are the best of the best. Estancia Tres Valles Talk about the road less traveled and you must think of Tres Valles, Argentina. You may not meet another car for the last hour or more, but chances are pretty good of meeting a horse and gaucho. As you begin to wind your way back into the foothills of the Andes, you’ll be thinking that this is some of the most beautiful country you’ve ever seen. And just when you think it can’t get any prettier, you’ll start to catch glimpses of water and soon Lago Tres Valles comes into view with snow-capped Andes as a back drop and you’ll be speechless. Tres Valles Estancia is a major cattle operation on the outside, but “back by the lake” is a beautiful new fly fishing lodge with an excellent staff of guides, superb fishing, wonderful accommodations and dining. You’ll be met by Simon and Guillermina and will soon fall in love with them and their warm easy style of hospitality. Here you will find more fishing than you can get to in a week, a year, maybe a lifetime. Fish different rivers, streams, lakes, and spring creeks daily. There is fishing in every direction from the lodge and the fish are hungry and willing to eat dry flies, nymphs, and streamers. We have a deep love for Patagonia and this particular estancia. There is a magnetic force that pulls us back year after year. Why not come and see for youself? Sincerely,

Barry & Cathy Beck

What to Expect

• The grand four bedroom Tres Valles Lodge offers the most majestic view in the region, as guests gently awaken to a warm sunrise over snowcapped Andes reflected upon a grand placid mountain lake among sprawling pampas. • Hallmark of remote Argentine Patagonia fly fishing diversity, Tres Valles offers mid-sized waters to intimate spring creeks, and lakes that harbor mammoth browns, rainbows and brook trout. • Step off the beaten path and continue south from Tres Valles to the furthest reaches of Northern Patagonia to a place where the only other angler you will see is your fishing partner and fish are energetic, eager and big.

About the Lodge

Tres Valles Lodge: It’s no secret that Tres Valles Lodge is a must-fish destination in Patagonia. With ingredients like an attentive host couple, eager staff / guides and inexhaustible walk-and-wade fishing in the shadow of the Andes, a receipt for success is inexorable. Situated in a remote corner of Chubut Province near Chile, Tres Valles Lodge is ideal for those fishermen who don’t like to “follow the crowd” and want an intimate, small capacity lodge experience. With an array of non-fishing activities available, it is a great choice for those with a non-fishing companion.
