This photographic safari encompassing Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa is a Beck favorite and will provide a superb combination of the best big cat and game viewing Southern Africa has to offer.

We have custom-crafted this departure to include four of the top safari camps in Southern Africa, focusing on the big cats: Zambia’s Toka Leya Camp and Shumba Camp and Zimbabwe’s Linkwasha Camp. The trip concludes at one of the most historical private game reserves that offers some of the finest game viewing on the continent, MalaMala. Each location provides a distinctive, contrasting African experience, and provides insight into the unique flora and fauna found in these regions.

Based in Pennsylvania, Barry and Cathy write books, host fly fishing departures, lead African photo safaris, and operate a stock photography business. Friday, July 14 - Saturday July 15

Arrive at Livingstone’s Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport. Please note US Citizens will require a visa to enter Zambia. The visa may be obtained upon arrival at a cost of US $50.00 per person, or in advance at a cost of US $165.00 per person.

On arrival, you will be met by our local representative and transferred by road to Toka Leya Camp.

Accommodation: Toka Leya Camp - Tented Room Inclusions: Accomodation based on a full board basis inclusive of all meals, local drinks (excluding premium import brands and champagne), laundry services, park fees, guided tour of the Zambian side of Victoria Falls, guided tour of Livingstone town and Livingstone Museum, sunset river cruise, visit to a local African village and local curio shops.

Sunday, July 16

At the appropriate time, you will be transferred to Livingstone’s Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport. On arrival, you will be met by our local representative and assisted with check-in for your light aircraft transfer to Shumba Camp.

Depart Livingstone’s Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport at 2:00 PM. Upon arrival of Shumba Airstrip at 4:00 PM, you will be met by a representative who will transfer you to camp.

Accommodation: Shumba Camp - Tented Room Inclusions: Accomodation based on a full board basis inclusive of all meals, twice daily scheduled camp activites, park fees, laundry and all local drinks (premium imported brands and champagne excluded).

Monday, July 17 - Tuesday July 18

Enjoy two full days of game viewing in Kafue National Park.

Wednesday, July 19

At a time to be advised by the camp manager, you will be transferred back to the airstrip for your 9:00 AM scheduled light aircraft transfer to Livingstone.

Upon arrival of Livingstone’s Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport at 11:00 AM, you will be met by our local representative and transferred by road to Victoria Falls International Airport.

Upon arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport, and after clearing Zimbabwe Customs & Immigration Services, you will be met by our local representative and assisted to check-in for the scheduled light aircraft transfer to Linkwasha Camp. Please note US Citizens will require a visa to enter Zimbabwe. The visa may be obtained upon arrival at a cost of US $30.00 per person (single entry).

Depart Victoria Falls International Airport at 2:30 PM.

Upon arrival of Linkwasha Airstrip at 3:25 PM, you will be met by a representative, who will transfer you to camp.

Accommodation: Linkwasha Camp - Tented Room Inclusions: Accommodation based on a full board basis inclusive of all meals, twice daily scheduled camp activities, park fees, laundry and all local drinks (premium imported brands and champagne excluded).

Thursday, July 20 - Saturday, July 22

Enjoy three full days of game viewing in Hwange National Park.

Sunday, July 23

At a time to be advised by the camp management, you will be transferred from Linkwasha Camp to the airstrip for your private charter flights (2 x Pilatus PC12) to MalaMala Sable Camp (via Bulawayo and Polokwane). Flight duration: approximately 2 hours, 20 minutes (excluding 60 minutes for each stop en route).

Upon arrival of the MalaMala Airstrip, you will be met by our local representative and transferred to Sable Camp.

Accommodation: MalaMala Sable Camp - Luxury Suite Inclusions: Accommodation on a full board basis with all meals and snacks, game drives in open 4-wheel drive safari vehicles conducted by an experienced ranger, nature walks, transfers to and from the MalaMala Game Reserve airstrip, laundry - maximum 10 items per room per day, local brand beers, house wines, soft drinks and community levy.

Monday, July 24 - Wednesday, July 26

Enjoy three full days of game viewing in MalaMala Game Reserve.

Thursday, July 27

At a time to be advised by the camp manager, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your private charter flights (2 x Pilatus PC12) to Johannesburg.

Flight duration: approximately 1 hour.

On arrival at Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport, proceed to check-in for your flight back to the United States.

Costs $17,895 per person based on double occupancy Single supplement fee: $5,800 per person. *Rates based on a group of 12 guests and subject to currency fluctuation and change for 2017.

Deposit: A $4,000 per person deposit will be due to secure a reservation; a second deposit of $5,000 will be due July 28, 2016; balance due March 28, 2017. Deposits and final payments are non-refundable unless client replacement can be found. Travel Insurance is highly recommended. All costs are based on a minimum group size of 12 participants; should the group fall below 12, a small group supplement may apply.

If obtained upon arrival, the visa payment will need to be made in US$ cash.

For this reason, they require guest weights prior to travel. Luggage on light aircraft transfers is restricted to 44 lbs per person and must be in soft sided bags.
