BULLHEAD CITY LIONS CLUB
Bullhead City Lions Club’s mission is to serve children and adults with their vision needs.
Children who cannot read letters, symbols and numbers fall behind in their education. Bullhead City Lions Club vision screens preschoolers and elementary schoolchildren to identify vision problems. More than 20 percent of those children screened each year have been referred for a professional eye exam. If the parents cannot afford to pay, Bullhead City Lions Club pays for professional eye exams and glasses.
Adults who cannot see to read experience job failure, isolation and withdrawal from society. Bullhead City Lions will pay for professional eye exams and glasses for adults who cannot afford this service.

BULLHEAD CITY MEALS ON WHEELS
Bullhead City Meals on Wheels serves our local seniors. We deliver hot meals to homebound elders and congregate meals five days a week at the senior center.
Our goal is to increase the number of meals we provide and prevent any older adult or disabled person from going hungry. The Meals on Wheels tax credit contribution can expand our mission by increasing the number of clients we serve. We offer a place where seniors can socialize and have a hot meal with daily crafts and activities. The tax credit will help add more activities, educational classes, and arts and crafts supplies. We would also be able to offer more snacks and beverages throughout the day for those whose only source of nutrition is our facility.

LEGACY CONNECTION
Legacy Connection is an affiliate nonprofit organization of BHHS Legacy Foundation. It collaborates with a variety of local nonprofits to support a range of programs that serve disadvantaged children.
As a Qualifying Charitable Organization, Legacy Connection receives community donations that support its main initiative, Backpack Buddies, a vital resource for thousands of Arizona schoolchildren. Backpack Buddies donations made to Legacy Connection are matched by the Foundation dollar-for-dollar. The combined funding supports local nonprofit organizations that serve lowincome children from Title 1 schools. The children receive all brand-new items — backpacks filled with school supplies and hygiene items, books, undergarments, school clothing and shoes — preparing them to return to school with confidence, ready to learn.
