Young people told: have your say Young people are being asked for their opinions on the future of youth provision in the area. A survey is being launched this month to get an idea of what sort of youth service is needed for Frampton Cotterell, Coalpit Heath and the surrounding areas. The initiative comes from the parish councils of Frampton Cotterell and Westerleigh, and follows the closure of the youth club at the Brockeridge Centre last year. A senior youth worker has been commissioned to find out young people’s views via Facebook and Twitter, as well as a visit to Winterbourne International Academy. The deadline for submissions is the end of January, with the reports findings being sent to the two councils at the end of February. More, page 7.
