On July 28, 2002, on his birthday, Oleksandr Solontai went to the center of Uzhhorod with the sign "І am founding а public organization." Не was approached Ьу friends, acquaintances and just casual passers-by, and so the platform was born, which became an all-Ukrainian center of socially active youth and the driving force of communities.

Founder of FRI, Oleksandr Solontai: "Ukraine will Ье changed when the

FRI today is а network of 27 branches across the country, working to develop

PROJECT OF ТНЕ FOUNDATION OF REGIONAL INITIATIVES IS UNDOUBTEDLY FRI-CAMPS - 5-DAYTENT CAMPS WITH RICH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR ACTIVE YOUTH. SINCE 2005, WE HAVE BEEN GUARANTEEING PARTICIPANTS А COMPLETE RESTART OF LIFE WITH NON-FORMAL

EDUCATION DURING ТНЕ DAY AND AN INSPIRING ENVIRONMENT OF LIKE-MINDED Р EOPLE AND ТНЕ ROMANCE OF А BLAZING FIRE IN ТНЕ EVENING.

ln 2020 we will have even more new achievements and victories. First of аІІ, it is the development of the 2025 Strategy, which will determine the

priorities of FRl's activities for upcoming years. Not only the leadership, but also every FRl-member will join this process.

The Battle of Branches in February will boost our energy after long winter holidays, unite and encourage us to analyze t he project activities thoroughly. The March Conference will update the current leadership of the organization and will Ье а driving force of positive changes in FRI. The already traditional Camp Workshop in Мау will Ье а big step towards а successful season of summer camps. This year we have even more re-

sponsible approach to organizing FRI-Camps, and we intend to bring this project of 17-year history to а whole new level.

After returning from camps, we will get together even more: we'II see each other at the autumn Conference, Departments meetings and the Local Branches Forum. And throughout the year we will continue to do what we know how to do the best - we will develop Ukrainian youth and implement projects that change our country every day.
