Christmas Reflections – 2022
Christmas Breakfast Club
On the 15th of December, the well known Breakfast Club took place in the theatre’s Green Room. Hosted by our wonderful Volunteer Catering Team led by Dorothy Coleman. All attending had an incredibly special visitor too, namely, St Nick – AKA, Ray Scott…..

December Coffee, Cake & Christmas Carols and (another) Visit from Santa
On Saturday 3rd December, we were joined by members of the ‘Just Sing’ choir that added many festive ‘notes’ to our monthly Coffee gathering.

Our special VIP guest also made his journey all the way from the North Pole and joined in on the festivities. It was great to see so many people attend on the morning.

Thank you for your continued support of Shanklin Theatre, it's very much appreciated. Our sincerest thanks go to the 'Just Sing' choir for attending the morning and making it special. Many thanks also to our Catering Team, all the Theatre Volunteers and FOST committee members for making this happen. www.friendsofshanklintheatre.co.uk
Christmas Tree Festival 2022
The annual Isle of Wight Christmas Tree Festival took place at the Isle of Wight Pearl along the Military Road. All the trees were put up and decorated by local organisations & businesses to raise funds for local charities including our own – FOST Christmas Tree.

‘The display is quite marvellous, but I have to say (without being biased, of course) that the Friends of Shanklin Theatre Christmas Tree was simply the best - an exceptionally good 'all-rounder' I would suggest!’ https://www.iowpearl.co.uk/ Left – Jane Robert & Jacqui Robertson preparing the FOST Christmas Tree

Our thanks go to our dedicated volunteers for their splendid work in making this happen.
Delysia Farm Christmas Hamper
Diane and John Day are keen supporters of Shanklin Theatre, and they generously organised a Christmas Raffle in aid of The Friends of

The draw took place on Friday 23rd December and raised an amazing £200. A special thank you goes to John and Diane Day for organising it and generously donating the items, and to all the customers of the farm shop who bought a ticket.
Delysia Farm can be found at Carpenters Road, Brading, PO36 0QA (next to OASIS), the shop is open 10am - 5pm Tuesday – Saturday.
