There are dangers, choices, adventures and consequences. There is pain, and there is also joy. All are necessary experiences for your journey. YOU must use all of your numerous talents and much of your enormous intelligence. You must learn to tap into your inner-being because YOU have all of the answers within you. There is no "wrong decision." Only learning opportunities. Sometimes you may choose a path that could have harmful consequences, but nevertheless, it is not a waste! At other

Shayenne Banach (she/her) is 24 years old and is a person in recovery who is approaching 5 years of sobriety from substances. She has two sons, two dogs, and is in a very wonderful relationship. Shayenne enjoys being in nature,and quality time with family, and she loves to help others!

NEW YORK STATE RECOVERY CONFERENCE
OCTOBER 6-8, 2024
We are proud to announce the 9th Annual New York State Recovery Conference; providing innovative educational and networking opportunities for the recovery community.
This year’s workshops will center on how and what sustains recovery. There will be workshops on the multiple pathways of recovery, emerging advocacy efforts and skill building for peer professionals and people in recovery.
